Hunter Vally, November 15-17
Join Wild Child Moves for this glamping retreat in the Hunter Valley. This unique retreat experience will include nature based meditations, movement and deep ecology practices to reconnect our body and spirit with the wider body of the earth. We will move through the spiral of Joanna Macy’s the Work That Reconnects to process despair over the current global ecological crisis, and cultivate connection, healing, joy and determination to continue to act in our role as healers, protectors, and lovers of earth. Recharge and reconnect in beautiful natural surroundings with like-minded people. It’s going to be super special!

About your retreat guides:
Anna Greer is a yoga teacher, writer and deep ecology/work that reconnects facilitator. Anna runs a deep ecology collective in Sydney fostering real world connections to build resilience and healing in the face of ecological collapse. After spending time involved in frontline activism, including with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society defending Antarctica’s whales, Anna is now focusing on contributing to the shift in our collective consciousness that is necessary for us to transition to a life-sustaining society.
Clare Lovelace is a yoga teacher based in Batemans Bay. Clare grew up in the secluded Herefordshire countryside in England and spent her formative years roaming around covered in mud, making friends with the trees. Clare has a fascination, love and respect for the earth that weaves through every part of her life. She believes deeply in the healing power of nature via conversation and tangible connection with the plants, animals and living Earth herself. She is passionate about sharing this love & facilitating reconnection through these sacred and ancient practices.
Clare and Anna believe that to save the world we humans need to first fall back in love with her, to become re-enchanted with the natural world, to feel a sense of intimacy and belonging in the earth. We aim to facilitate joyful, playful connections in nature through the practices of yoga, meditation, deep ecology and the work that reconnects.
