The gravitational pull can feel like it’s working against us when we start to play with inversions in yoga class. This immersive will break down four main inversions, headstand, handstand, forearm stand and shoulderstand, in a way that will teach you how to align with the force of gravity. Learn strengthening exercises, precise and safe alignment and some tricks and tips to unlock the upside down.
Inversions require our whole body and mind, which is why they are one of the most powerful family of yoga asana. Inversions teach us bodily control and muscle isolation, they help us to overcome fear, they build upper body and core strength and develop focus and patience and determination.
This immersive will focus on the foundations in a supportive atmosphere. Wherever you’re at in your inversions journey, come along and have some fun!
