Join Anna Greer in this deep dive into the energetic body.
Through yoga practice, philosophy and journalling, we will learn how to use the energetic body to process and integrate what is held there. We will use the map of the energetic body as a way to internally track and balance our psyche and emotions, exploring Carl Jung’s analysis and the East/West confluence. The course will also have an emphasis on the elements associated with each chakra, the link to the physical, and the different ways we can understand the concept of ‘balancing’ our chakras.
The structure of the course is:
Week one: An introduction to the subtle body
Week two: Muladhara and Svadishthana
Week three: Manipura and Anahata
Week four: Vishuddha, Ajna and Sahasrara
This course is for yoga teachers and students who want to deepen their understanding of yoga philosophy and how it understands the body.
